We, the Thurner family, welcome you to our farm in South Tyrol. At 1.140 m above sea level, our farm is located only 3 km from Oberbozen, in a very quiet location, as a single farm, surrounded by forest, in the municipality of Ritten.

Earth pyramids, the Wolfsgruben lake, mixed deciduous, pine, spruce and stone pine forests and a diverse vegetation characterize the landscape. The south-eastern location in the Sarntal Alps offers you a magnificent view of the picturesque Sarntal valley and the surrounding mountain peaks of the Dolomites. Here, besides the breathtaking panorama, you can also enjoy a pleasant rest, because our farm is, in spite of the good connection, far away from rush and noise.

At the Waldnerhof, you are always welcome! We offer you a room for up to two people and four apartments for three to six people each. All accommodations have a balcony, from which you can enjoy the splendid panorama.

You can park your car in our car park. When the weather is nice, you can sunbathe on our lawn or enjoy the evening with a family barbecue and the romantic atmosphere of a camp, while recalling the events of the past day. For your children, there are various playing opportunities in the courtyard or in our living area.

You can decide if you want to supply yourself with your own bread, or have breakfast.

A farm holiday enjoys the whole family!

If you want to spend your holidays with your children, a holiday on a farm in Ritten is a great idea. At our Waldnerhof new adventures await you and your children every day. We have equipped the garden with a slide, swing and trampoline so that your little ones can fully enjoy, while you relax on the lawn and finally read a good book.

We are also looking forward to your help with our daily work! You have the opportunity to help us in the barn or collecting hay, or feeding the animals. On our farm live cows and calves, but also a dog, cats, chickens, rabbits and a guinea pig. Your children will love our animals!

Ritten is a holiday paradise all year long

No matter in what time of the year you want to spend your holidays at the farm in Oberbozen, you will always experience a unique dream vacation. In spring, summer and autumn, you will be able to experience the beauty of nature in South Tyrol by hiking along hundreds of kilometers. The hiking area on Rittner Horn is well-known for its panorama trails, and will take your breath away.

In winter, skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers will have a great time. Visit the Rittner Horn ski area just 25 minutes away by car and get into the ski-run fun. Alternatively, choose a winter or snowshoe hike, do a toboggan run with the whole family or turn pirouettes on the enchantingly glittering Wolfsgruben lake.
